Keep it simple. Kids like to do things not just see things. One fun place to go is Forest Park. And then get to the Planetarium and Science Museum. There is something for kids of all ages, including adults, to keep everyone interested and involed. And we learn something too. Also, if the weather is not good, you will have no problem entertaining kids. Be sure to start in Forest Park and then walk across Interstate 64 (old highway 40). Kids have fun pointing radar at cars to see how fast they are going.

I suggest Six Flags over Mid America or the Eugene Fleid Toy

museum. The Science Museum. National Bowling Museum. I even suggest go to a St. Louis Cardinals Baseball game. The St.Louis Arch. The VP fair at the end of June- 4th of July weekend. The Muni theater, Forrest Park and 1903 world fair

Museum.

Six Flags is #1 place for kids but (little expensive)

The Magic House is #2 $14.00 to get in

St. Louis Zoo #3 is awesome and it free - pack a lunch eat in the park - food inside the zoo is high

Merrimac caverns is # 4 around $16.00

Shaw’s Botanical Garden #5 is more for adults but the kids will enjoy it also

My all time favorite is the Magic House. I first went when I was really young, and I'm 19 now and could still find things to do there! (although I might feel a little out of place!) They have lots of cool stuff, like a village where kids can do different jobs, like check out at the grocery store, or perform the local weather at the news station, and they have lots of science experiments and other generally fun stuff. I would definitely recommend it.

The magic house is by far the best place I have found to go with kids. I almost had to literally drag my son out. There are things for kids of all ages to do there.
